Mrs. Bricker has over 35 years of elementary education, the last 17 years specializing in Kindergarten.. A graduate of Colorado Mesa University, she loves the Grand Valley. Her teaching philosophy is to meet the student where they are at, and is passionate about engaging and empowering students and families on the path to education. She has extensive continuing education and endorsements. She is excited to teach & show God’s love to the families at Growing in Light Academy.

Kira was born and raised in Grand Junction. She has an Elementary education degree from CMU and has taught in D51 for 6 years. She also lived and taught in Minnesota with her husband. Kira has twin 5-year-old boys. She loves hiking, biking, and being active outside with her family and Golden Retriever. Kira is committed to providing a loving and God-centered environment for students to grow. She is excited to be a part of each student’s academic and spiritual growth

Jackie Stouffer has been married to the love of her life, Tim, for 44 years. They have twin daughter and son and she is a Grandmother of 4.

She began dancing at the age of three and at times she was able to take formal classes. She continued taking dance through college and a few years after and then because of moves, transitioned to teaching aerobics. Jackie taught aerobics for over 25 years, and still teaches a fitness class called REFIT, which is a combination dance/fitness format.

She has a new title, “author”, where she share her journey as a non-profit starter. She believes God has designed every single person alive today with a specific purpose in mind. The secret to finding your purpose is to know God and know yourself.

She has an elementary education degree and loves showing children how to love and serve God with their voice and body.

April and her family moved to Fruita 10 years ago. They have loved living here!

They have 3 kids Alexis, Dagen & Addie. She love hiking, camping & being outdoors with family. She has been a teachers aid for 8 years. She is so grateful for the opportunity to serve in this ministry!
